Sunstar Insurance Group has acquired RJR Faribo Insurance Agency, marking the independent insurance broker’s entry into Minnesota and further expanding its presence across the Midwest.
The transaction brings RJR Faribo’s 22 employees into Sunstar while allowing the agency to maintain its established client relationships and local service approach. The partnership will also provide RJR Faribo with access to additional carrier relationships, insurance products and specialized resources through Sunstar’s broader platform.
With offices in Eden Prairie and Faribault, RJR Faribo traces its history to the 1930s. The current agency was formed in 1986 through the merger of Rooke & Company, Tuthill-Johnson & Associates and Renslow & Associates.
Led by CEO Mark Lancaster, RJR Faribo provides commercial and personal insurance solutions to businesses and individuals. The agency has built a longstanding presence in its market through a focus on local relationships and personalized service.
