NFP, an Aon company, has acquired Moores Insurance Management, Inc., a Minneapolis-based risk management and insurance firm serving high-net-worth individuals and commercial clients.
Founded in 1987, Moores provides property and casualty insurance and risk management services to individuals and businesses across 43 states. The acquisition expands NFP’s presence in Minnesota while adding capabilities in both commercial insurance and personal risk.
As part of the transaction, Moores CEO Mark Moores will join NFP as senior vice president of Commercial P&C. He will report to Amanda Ruback, managing director of P&C for NFP’s Central region.
Jack Moores, president of Moores, will become senior vice president of Personal Lines and report to Mary Mullen, senior vice president of Personal Risk for NFP’s Central region.
Brett Woodward, president of Personal Risk for NFP, said the addition of Moores strengthens NFP’s position in the Minnesota market and expands its ability to provide property and casualty solutions to high-net-worth and commercial clients.
Mark and Jack Moores said joining NFP will combine the firm’s longstanding local client relationships with NFP’s broader resources and capabilities. They said the combination will help the team provide more integrated insurance solutions as the needs of high-net-worth individuals and business owners continue to evolve.
The acquisition represents another expansion of NFP’s property and casualty operations while adding an established firm with nearly four decades of experience serving personal and commercial insurance clients.
