The Insurance Networks Alliance (INA) is preparing to celebrate an important milestone as it brings insurance network leaders and industry partners together for its 10th Annual Meeting, scheduled for February 8–10, 2027, at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona.
The milestone reflects the continued growth and importance of insurance agency networks within the independent agency distribution system. INA describes itself as the principal organization promoting the role of insurance networks in the independent agent channel. Its mission centers on creating a forum where networks and industry partners can collaborate, strengthen relationships and increase the collective value of the network model.
The organization traces its beginnings to conversations among insurance network executives who recognized the need for greater communication between networks and their carrier partners. In January 2017, representatives from 11 insurance agency networks and 10 insurance carriers met to discuss distribution challenges, the role of networks and ways to improve carrier-network relationships. The momentum from that meeting ultimately led to the launch of the Insurance Networks Alliance later that year.
Bringing the Insurance Network Community Together
A central part of INA membership is the opportunity to connect with other professionals facing many of the same opportunities and challenges.
Today, INA membership includes insurance agency networks as well as carriers, markets and industry service providers. The organization provides opportunities for these different parts of the insurance distribution ecosystem to exchange ideas and develop productive business relationships.
The annual meeting is a major part of that mission. Rather than simply functioning as another industry conference, the event is designed to bring decision-makers together to collaborate with peers, meet business partners, learn from industry experts and identify resources and solutions that can strengthen their organizations. Attendees include owners and senior executives of professionally managed agency networks, along with insurance carriers, wholesalers, program administrators and service providers supporting networks and carriers. The 10th Annual INA Meeting is centered on helping insurance networks leverage AI, data, and peer collaboration to increase member engagement, strengthen carrier relationships, and position their organizations for long-term growth and relevance.
Creating More Opportunities for Peer Collaboration
As INA celebrates its 10th annual gathering, the organization is also working to create new ways for network professionals to learn directly from one another. One addition planned for Phoenix is a Network Leader Peer Advisory Session
“Real Challenges, Experienced Peers, Practical Solutions” .The limited, peer-focused discussion is intended to provide network administrators with an environment for candid conversations about the realities of managing and growing an insurance network.
Participants will have an opportunity to discuss practical challenges, exchange ideas and share solutions with professionals who understand the unique responsibilities of network administration. The goal is to move beyond broad industry discussions and create conversations that network leaders can translate into tangible improvements within their own organizations.
That peer-to-peer approach reflects the broader value INA has sought to provide throughout its history. Relationships between networks, carriers and service providers are important, but so are opportunities for network executives to learn from peers who face similar operational, distribution and growth challenges.
Looking Ahead to the Next Decade
Reaching the 10th Annual Meeting gives INA an opportunity to recognize how far the organization and the insurance network channel have come while continuing to focus on what lies ahead.
As independent agencies navigate changing carrier appetites, technology, consolidation and evolving distribution models, collaboration across the network community can become increasingly valuable. INA provides a dedicated forum where those conversations can take place and where relationships can develop beyond individual transactions.
The best way to understand that value is to experience the community firsthand. The 10th Annual Insurance Networks Alliance Meeting, February 8–10, 2027 in Phoenix, offers network leaders and industry partners an opportunity to join the conversation, build meaningful relationships and help shape the future of the insurance network channel.
