ALKEME Insurance completed three agency acquisitions during the third quarter of 2026, expanding its presence in Arizona, Connecticut and Kansas.
The additions strengthen ALKEME’s capabilities across commercial insurance, personal lines, employee benefits and specialty hospitality coverage.
The acquired agencies are Ambassador Group in Phoenix, Arizona; Thomson Financial Services in Southington, Connecticut; and C&W Insurance Agency in Manhattan, Kansas.
Ambassador Group has served the hospitality industry since 1989 and specializes in insurance for bars and restaurants. The agency also provides homeowners, auto, commercial, life and health insurance. Founder David DeLorenzo said joining ALKEME will give the agency access to additional insurance markets, carrier relationships and resources while building on more than three decades of industry experience.
Thomson Financial Services specializes in employee benefits for groups and individuals throughout Connecticut. Its primary areas of focus include group health insurance and Medicare coverage.
C&W Insurance Agency is a retail insurance agency serving individuals and businesses in Kansas. The firm provides both personal and commercial insurance products.
Curtis Barton, CEO of ALKEME Insurance, said each of the acquired agencies brings specialized knowledge developed through years of serving particular industries, coverage areas or local communities. He said that expertise will strengthen ALKEME’s broader capabilities and benefit clients across the organization.
The three transactions continue ALKEME’s strategy of expanding its national brokerage platform through acquisitions of established independent insurance agencies in targeted markets.
The company said it remains focused on adding agencies with specialized expertise and established local operations as it continues its national expansion.
Financial terms of the three acquisitions were not disclosed in the announcement.
