Arrowhead Intermediaries is marking one year since its acquisition of One80 Intermediaries and the combination of its underwriting, wholesale and specialty insurance businesses into a single platform.
During its first year, Arrowhead focused on integrating more than 50 businesses, introducing new insurance products and expanding the use of artificial intelligence across its operations. The company is now preparing for a broader brand alignment that will begin in 2027.
Arrowhead currently has approximately 7,800 employees across 170 locations worldwide. CEO Steve Boyd said the combined platform allows the company to bring specialized expertise and market access to niche and hard-to-place risks while improving collaboration across its businesses.
The company said it completed several integration milestones during the year, including work to align systems, operations and shared capabilities. Arrowhead also reported cost and revenue synergies from increased collaboration, business combinations and operational efficiencies.
Product development has been another area of focus. Arrowhead launched 13 new products across its divisions during the year and said more than 20 additional products are currently in development.
The company is also expanding its use of AI for tasks including submission and claims intake, document review and knowledge management. Arrowhead said its approach keeps employees involved in decision-making while using AI to reduce repetitive administrative work and improve access to information.
Beginning in 2027, Arrowhead will introduce a simplified brand structure across its three divisions. Arrowhead Programs will become Arrowhead Underwriting, while its wholesale brokerage operations will operate under the Bridge Specialty Group brand. Arrowhead Specialty will officially launch as the division providing specialized insurance, reinsurance and risk management solutions.
The changes will be introduced in phases across company brands, websites, marketing materials, customer communications and legal entity names.
Arrowhead said the restructuring will not change existing leadership teams, day-to-day contacts, underwriting authority, appetite or governance. Existing carrier, broker and customer relationships will also remain in place.
Chris Walker, chairman of Arrowhead Intermediaries, said the brand alignment is intended to make the combined organization and its capabilities easier for customers and partners to navigate.
