The New Hampshire agencies will merge, with Allied’s four-person team continuing to serve clients under Davis & Towle.
Davis & Towle Insurance Group has acquired Allied Insurance Agency in Bow, New Hampshire, and will merge the agency into its statewide operations.
The acquisition expands Concord-based Davis & Towle, which now has 14 locations across New Hampshire. Financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
Allied clients will continue working with the agency employees who have handled their accounts. David Gazaway, Wendy, Sandi and Alicia are joining Davis & Towle and will remain involved in serving clients’ insurance needs.
Davis & Towle said Allied’s client histories will be preserved during the transition. Clients will also gain access to the larger agency’s insurance expertise and service resources.
Gazaway, Allied’s former owner, said he carefully considered the choice of an acquisition partner and selected Davis & Towle because of its reputation and approach to client service.
“I am confident that Davis & Towle will be a great fit for the Allied team, as well as our clients,” Gazaway said in the announcement.
Davis & Towle President Ryan Towle said Allied has built a strong reputation among individuals, families and businesses in the Bow area. He added that Davis & Towle intends to maintain those client relationships while providing additional support and local expertise through its Concord team.
“We have a great deal of respect for the relationships David and his team have built over the years,” Towle said.
The retention of Allied’s existing employees is intended to provide continuity as the agencies combine operations.
Davis & Towle is a New Hampshire-based independent insurance organization headquartered in Concord. The Allied transaction continues the group’s expansion across the state through the acquisition and integration of local agencies.
