Earnix has introduced Agent Hub, a new catalog of insurance-focused AI agents and applications designed to bring agentic AI directly into pricing, underwriting and customer engagement workflows.
Agent Hub is part of Earnix AIOS, the company’s AI Orchestration System. The technology is designed to help insurers use AI to analyze information and take actions within existing workflows while maintaining human oversight and defined controls.
Unlike standalone AI assistants, the agents can work across an insurer’s existing technology environment, including policy administration systems, underwriting workbenches, data platforms and customer portals.
According to Earnix, the technology can be applied to insurance processes involving pricing and rating, underwriting, customer engagement and portfolio management. The goal is to help insurers complete tasks faster, improve consistency and give employees additional capacity while maintaining traceability and accountability.
The launch comes as insurers increasingly explore artificial intelligence to respond to changing risk conditions, market pressures and growing amounts of data. Earnix said the increased use of AI in operational decision-making also creates a greater need for governance, explainability and human oversight.
Robin Gilthorpe, CEO of Earnix, said agentic AI represents a shift from technology that primarily provides information to systems capable of taking action within insurance workflows.
Gilthorpe said that while the technology can shorten the time between analysis and action, insurers will need to maintain appropriate controls over how AI agents operate and make decisions.
Earnix said Agent Hub is designed with defined permissions, traceability and human involvement to address those concerns.
The new offering expands Earnix’s use of AI across its insurance technology platform as carriers look for ways to incorporate artificial intelligence into day-to-day operations without removing human judgment and accountability from important insurance decisions.
