The Insurance Networks Alliance (INA) is preparing to celebrate a major milestone by hosting its 10th Annual Meeting, scheduled for February 8–10, 2027, at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona. Over the past decade, the organization has grown into the leading national association dedicated exclusively to insurance agency networks, bringing together network executives, insurance carriers, wholesalers, program administrators, technology companies, and other industry partners to strengthen the independent agency distribution system.
A Unique Organization in the Independent Agency Channel
Unlike many insurance associations that serve individual agencies or insurance companies, the Insurance Networks Alliance focuses specifically on insurance agency networks—organizations that bring independent agencies together to leverage collective purchasing power, improve carrier access, share best practices, provide technology resources, and enhance operational efficiencies.
According to the INA, its mission is to promote the critical role that insurance networks play within the independent agency distribution channel while fostering productive relationships among carriers, associations, service providers, and network leaders. In addition to its annual meeting, the organization offers educational podcasts, industry resources, member directories, and support for the Invest Program, which promotes careers in the insurance industry.
Looking Ahead to the 10th Annual Meeting
The upcoming 10th Annual Meeting promises to continue the organization’s tradition of combining education with high-level business development opportunities.
The conference is designed for owners and senior executives of insurance agency networks, insurance carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, program administrators, and industry service providers. Attendees will participate in keynote presentations, educational sessions, roundtable discussions, and one-on-one meetings to explore new distribution partnerships with networks and carriers.
Early information released by the INA indicates that the meeting will feature presentations on business strategy, artificial intelligence, data utilization, leadership, member engagement, and ways networks can create additional value for their agency members. MarshBerry Managing Director Eric Hallinan is scheduled to deliver the keynote presentation.

Ten Years of Growth
The upcoming meeting represents much more than another industry conference—it reflects how insurance networks have become an increasingly important distribution channel for insurance carriers.
Since launching its first annual meeting nearly a decade ago, the INA has steadily expanded both attendance and industry participation. Each year’s event has focused on helping networks improve agency support while strengthening relationships with insurance carriers and solution providers.
The Alliance’s website maintains archives of annual meetings dating back to 2018, with presentations covering topics such as agency technology, carrier relationships, leadership, market conditions, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, business development, operational efficiencies, and emerging trends affecting independent agencies.
Highlights from Previous Meetings
Recent conferences illustrate how the organization has evolved alongside the changing insurance marketplace.
2026 – Tampa, Florida
The 2026 meeting attracted more than 300 attendees, including representatives from 38 insurance agency networks, 78 insurance markets, and 77 service providers. Educational sessions focused on the excess & surplus market, artificial intelligence, niche business development, and strengthening relationships among networks, carriers, and service providers. The conference also emphasized scheduled business-development meetings, allowing carriers and networks to explore new partnerships.
2025 – Phoenix, Arizona
The conference continued expanding educational programming while offering structured networking opportunities and presentations from industry executives. Topics included market conditions, operational improvements, agency growth strategies, and technology solutions designed specifically for insurance networks.
2024 – Fort Worth, Texas
Educational sessions centered on helping networks provide greater value to their member agencies through stronger carrier relationships, operational excellence, and collaboration across the independent agency marketplace.
2023 – Fort Worth, Texas
As the insurance market experienced continued hard-market conditions, conference discussions focused on helping networks navigate carrier capacity issues, support member agencies, and identify growth opportunities despite underwriting challenges.
2022 and Earlier
Following the pandemic years, the Alliance continued rebuilding in-person collaboration while expanding educational resources through presentations, podcasts, and member engagement. Previous meetings consistently addressed agency operations, technology, cybersecurity, carrier relationships, and strategies for helping independent agencies remain competitive in an increasingly complex marketplace. The first three meetings were held in Tempe, AZ, followed by Chicago and Fort Worth.
Why Insurance Networks Matter
Insurance agency networks have become an increasingly valuable resource for independent agencies, particularly smaller and mid-sized firms. By joining a professionally managed network, agencies may gain access to carrier appointments, enhanced market access, technology resources, education, operational support, profit sharing and opportunities to participate in larger books of business than they could individually.
For insurance carriers, networks provide an efficient way to distribute products through groups of well-supported independent agencies while reducing administrative complexity. The INA serves as a forum where these relationships can develop and evolve.
Looking Forward
As the Insurance Networks Alliance enters its second decade, its continued growth reflects the expanding importance of insurance agency networks within the independent agency marketplace. The 10th Annual Meeting will provide another opportunity for network executives, carriers, wholesalers, and industry partners to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of insurance distribution.
For anyone involved in insurance networks—or agencies considering joining one—the annual INA meeting has become one of the industry’s premier forums for education, collaboration, and business development. As independent agencies continue adapting to new technologies, changing market conditions, and evolving customer expectations, the Alliance’s role in fostering collaboration across the insurance network community appears more important than ever.
