The acquisition adds a Long Island agency with more than 130 years of experience and expands King Risk Partners’ presence in New York.
King Risk Partners has acquired Norton and Siegel, an independent insurance agency based in Babylon Village on Long Island’s South Shore.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1892, Norton and Siegel serves individuals, families and businesses across New York. The multigenerational agency provides a range of personal and commercial insurance products and has specialized experience in flood insurance, waterfront properties and liability coverage.
The agency’s clients will continue working with Norton and Siegel’s local team following the acquisition. They will also gain access to King Risk Partners’ additional resources, carrier relationships and insurance capabilities.
Aaron Stein, owner of Norton and Siegel, said in the acquisition announcement that joining King would allow the agency to build on its longstanding client relationships while benefiting from the resources of a larger organization. He emphasized that clients would continue to receive service from the local insurance professionals they already know.
Scott Popilek, CEO of King Risk Partners, said Norton and Siegel’s experience in the New York market and capabilities in flood, waterfront property and specialized liability insurance would strengthen King’s overall expertise. He also pointed to the agencies’ shared focus on personal service and long-term client relationships.
