WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a business of Marsh, today announced the acquisition of Seitz Insurance Agency, a Sidney, Montana-based independent agency. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1961, Seitz Insurance primarily provides commercial and personal line insurance solutions to businesses and families in the region, with a specialization in the agriculture, crop and energy industries. It acquired Polson, Montana-based Bishop Insurance Services in 2023, deepening its personal and business insurance solution offerings in the Flathead and Mission Valley area. All employees, including agency principals and co-owners David Seitz and Camila Skinner, will join MMA and continue to operate out of their existing office locations.
“Seitz Insurance is an agency we’ve admired for years,” said Sarah Walsh, CEO of MMA’s Northwest region. “Many in the community have grown up with Seitz Insurance as a household name. With nine other MMA offices throughout central and western Montana, the Seitz Insurance team helps us round out more of our services on the eastern side of the state.”
“We chose Marsh McLennan Agency because of their commitment to clients, colleagues and communities alike,” said David Seitz. “Joining MMA gives us confidence that Seitz Insurance can continue serving our clients with integrity and industry-leading solutions, while giving our colleagues room to grow and deepen the community relationships that have always defined us.”
