Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a subsidiary of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) and a leading provider of insurance and financial services across the U.S. and Canada, has announced an agreement to acquire TriBridge Partners, an independent benefits brokerage and retirement and wealth advisory firm based in Columbia, Maryland. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 through the merger of three regional firms, TriBridge Partners provides health and employee benefits, retirement plan advisory, wealth management, and individual insurance services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Following the acquisition, all employees—including co-founders Heath Hykes (CEO), Dane Rianhard (Founding Principal), John Morris (Principal), and Paul Younkins (Chief Growth Officer)—will join MMA and continue operating from their Columbia office.
John Stanchina, CEO of MMA’s Mid-Atlantic region, noted that the acquisition strengthens MMA’s existing property and casualty capabilities by adding TriBridge’s expertise in group health, wealth management, and personal insurance. He emphasized that the combination will enhance MMA’s ability to deliver comprehensive advisory services to clients in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore markets.
Heath Hykes added that joining MMA will provide TriBridge with access to expanded resources and specialized expertise, enabling the firm to deliver more robust solutions to both business and individual clients, particularly in workforce strategy and long-term financial planning.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
