Lititz Mutual Insurance Company has selected Guidewire ProNavigator to provide its employees and independent insurance agents with faster access to company information using artificial intelligence.
ProNavigator will allow users to obtain answers based on Lititz Mutual’s policies, procedures and internal expertise directly within underwriting and claims workflows. The technology is designed to reduce the time employees and agents spend searching through documents and multiple systems for information.
The implementation comes as insurance companies and agencies look for ways to address employee onboarding, workforce turnover and the challenge of making institutional knowledge easily accessible. ProNavigator uses conversational AI to provide insurance-specific answers and guided recommendations during day-to-day work.
Henry Gibbel, president and CEO of Lititz Mutual, said the company views AI as a way to make employees and independent agents more effective by providing trusted information within their existing workflows.
According to Gibbel, reducing manual searches should help teams spend less time on administrative work while improving service for agents and policyholders. He added that Lititz Mutual was looking for an AI solution that could be adopted easily while meeting the company’s security and governance requirements.
Lititz Mutual also plans to use ProNavigator as a foundation for expanding AI capabilities into future agent and customer experiences.
Joseph D’Souza, general manager of ProNavigator at Guidewire, said embedding the technology into daily workflows can give agents, adjusters and underwriters faster access to the information they need while helping them remain productive.
The selection adds Lititz Mutual to the growing number of insurance organizations incorporating AI into operational workflows, with a focus on improving access to internal knowledge rather than requiring employees and agents to search for information manually across multiple sources.
