Oakbridge Insurance Agency has partnered with Memphis-based Valentine Insurance, expanding the brokerage’s capabilities in complex property and casualty insurance and employee benefits.
Valentine operates an integrated advisory model, with approximately half of its business focused on property and casualty insurance and the other half on employee benefits. The approach allows the firm to help businesses address insurance risks and workforce needs through a coordinated strategy.
The agency has developed specialized expertise in several industries, including habitational risks, hospitality and automotive dealerships. Its habitational practice serves large property management and multifamily portfolios, while its hospitality team works with owners and operators managing property, liability and workforce challenges.
Valentine also specializes in open lot insurance, which provides coverage for vehicle inventory held at automobile dealerships.
Oakbridge CEO Matt James said Valentine’s ability to combine complex property and casualty expertise with employee benefits strategy aligns with Oakbridge’s approach to serving clients facing interconnected operational and workforce risks.
The partnership will allow Valentine to maintain its existing leadership, client relationships and local decision-making while gaining access to Oakbridge’s broader carrier relationships, specialty expertise and national resources.
Valentine CEO Henry Lindeman said joining Oakbridge will provide the agency with additional resources and market access while preserving the local expertise and accountability clients have come to expect.
For Oakbridge, a Top 50 independent U.S. insurance brokerage, the partnership continues its strategy of expanding through established agencies with strong local leadership and specialized insurance capabilities.
The addition of Valentine strengthens Oakbridge’s presence in complex commercial insurance while expanding its ability to provide coordinated property and casualty and employee benefits solutions.
